Project 143 have teamed up with Swapp to provide single Asian professionals a fun and more fruitful way of meeting new singles. Think of the TV show ‘First Dates’ without the cameras but with the added the ability to adjust the seating plan so that you are sitting opposite your desired date!

Every so often Project 143 will host dinner dates for Asian professionals; each event will be dedicated to a cultural/religious background specific age groups as well as some mixed dinner events too.

The February 6th event will be for single Hindu professionals aged between 28-40.

The aim:

1. To get singles to go on an ‘actual date’ rather than waiting around for it to happen.
2. To eliminate ghosting – which happens to the best of us!
3. To get singles to meet in person where there is a greater possibility for real sparks to fly and real conversation to flourish.
4. To encourage singles to have fun and stop seeing dating as a tedious and sometimes daunting and depressing thing. All guests will be on their first date – everyone will all be in the same boat.
5. To provide Asian Professionals access to a pool of handpicked, pre-screened like-minded individuals.

Want to be a dinner guest?

First, enter your details in the form HERE – it’s free! The Project 143 team will review and approve your application in good time before granting you access to purchase the ticket and choose your seat at the dinner.

A week before the dinner, swapping will open. Take a few moments to scope the other guests and discover who your ideal dinner date might be (you can view photos and bios). If you think you’ve found a potential date, simply pay and request the system to swap your seat so that it is positioned opposite theirs (the person you are swapping with will have no choice but to swap) but be quick because other guests may share your opinion and do the same! Anyone can swap anyone else, completely anonymously. Make mischief, have fun, and get the dinner date you want!

You can only swap with somebody of the same gender and the fee of swapping starts at £2 per swap then increases to reflect demand. You may continue switching positions until 24 hours before the big night to help you achieve the seating plan you want.
